about

there's this great poem by Irving Layton (that I can't remember the name of right now) written close to his death, i read it somewhere. there were all these great descriptions of this poet waiting in some old room for his muse to come back and make him feel that magic like it will do, but it doesn't come. so i thought i'd write a song about it.
